After School Clubs

We provide four After School Clubs, Monday - Thursday, for which a small charge is made to pay the instructor.  Each After School Club runs from 3.30 - 4.30 p.m. and a letter is sent out for children to sign up to them, as and when it is their Year Group's timetabled turn.

If you are in receipt of benefits and receive free school meals, you will not need to pay.  The after school club fees are paid for out of the Pupil Premium Grant Fund allocated to school.

Our Monday - Wednesday After School Clubs are run by Joe Ratcliffe, a qualified sports coach (who also works in school as part-time teaching assistant).

Monday - Multi Sports Key Stage 2 - Children can choose from a variety of sports to participate in and improve their skills and fitness.  It is open to children in Years 3 - 6.

Tuesday - Circuit Training - Runs throughout the year specifically for our Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils.  Children build their self confidence & fitness whilst taking part in games.

Wednesday - Multi Sports Key Stage 1 -  New for September 2017 due to requests from pupils and is open to children in Years 1 & 2.

Thursday - Dance - This is run by Rachel Bowers, qualified dance instructor.  Rachel delivers a mixture of Street Dance & Hip Hop workshops.  This is open to all children from Reception to Year 6, different year groups are timetabled for each half term.

In addition to the above paid clubs, there are regularly football or cricket training sessions after school on a Thursday - these are provided free to all children and you will be notified when these take place.

All the instructors are DBS checked as part of our Safeguarding provision.
