School Information:

Please remember that children should not attend school if they, or a member of their household, are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or have tested positive.  The main symptoms are:  a high temperature; a new, continuous cough; and a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.  If your child has to self-isolate, please remember that they should remain at home throughout the period of isolation.

Government Guidance:  Children and young people want to feel assured that their parents and carers can keep them safe. One of the best ways to achieve this is by talking openly about what is happening and providing honest answers to any questions they have. Explain what is being done to keep them and their loved ones safe, including any actions they can take to help, such as washing their hands more often than usual. Use words and explanations that they can understand. There are resources available to help you do this, including the Children’s Commissioner’s Children’s Guide to Coronavirus. (click on link to open document).

March 8 2021

All children returned to school at long last.  If a child or member of staff in your child's class bubble report a positive Covid test, then school immediately notify parents and will send the class and associated adults home to isolate.  We will let you know the date of return.  During the time the children are isolating, the class teacher will provide remote learning via Seesaw.  NB  if you are asked to isolate, this means stay at home and do not leave your house, it is illegal to do so and you can be fined heftily for not complying to the regulations.
