School Information:

Please remember that children should not attend school if they, or a member of their household, are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or have tested positive.  The main symptoms are:  a high temperature; a new, continuous cough; and a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.  If your child has to self-isolate, please remember that they should remain at home throughout the period of isolation.

Government Guidance:  Children and young people want to feel assured that their parents and carers can keep them safe. One of the best ways to achieve this is by talking openly about what is happening and providing honest answers to any questions they have. Explain what is being done to keep them and their loved ones safe, including any actions they can take to help, such as washing their hands more often than usual. Use words and explanations that they can understand. There are resources available to help you do this, including the Children’s Commissioner’s Children’s Guide to Coronavirus. (click on link to open document).

January 2021

All schools are in lockdown once again.   Children of Key Workers and vulnerable children may attend school - a letter must be provided from your employer showing that you have key worker status.  The children in school will be taught in bubbles and all handwashing, distancing protocols adhered to.

Teachers will be setting work on the Seesaw App that parents signed up to last year, to offer remote learning.  Any problems, please do not hesitate to contact school or message your child's teacher via Seesaw and we will help in any way we can to support the welfare, teaching and learning of your child.  If you are not able to access Seesaw, contact us as soon as possible.
